One of our favorite ways to get to know our couples is through their pre-wedding portrait sessions. This is also a great opportunity to get creative and try some non-bridal styles and poses. Pre-wedding portraits are great for greeting cards, wedding invitations and wall decor. Because the possibilities are endless, styling an engagement session can be tricky. Luckily, we have insider tips, tricks and we are more than happy to let you lean on our artistic direction.

True Story: I slipped in mud during the pre-ceremony formals on a wedding day. This was a five-star fall! There was mud all over my tuchus and it was not in the least bit flattering. While presenting myself in a clean and professional matter is of high importance to me, this situation called for my vanity to take a back seat. I continued to shoot the rest of the pre-ceremony photos while sporting a large smudge of mother nature on my derriere. The timeline stayed on-track and I was able to swipe myself down moments before the ceremony. In that moment, how I looked didn't matter, what mattered was getting the job done- a choice I will make for my couples time & time again.
