As a creative soul, I am often dying to see the visual works inspired by the books I read. I look up fan art, I love a great make-up transformation based on the characters & I jump up and down anytime a new book-made-movie comes out!
This photoshoot was my first attempt at using my talent to bring a book to life!

by Adalyn Grace, is a story of a girl who can see Death. Oh, and Death is a person- a dark, mysterious, sexy person. He's basically the grim-reaper and she can't die. It's a dark romance and when I came across the "tunnel chapters" I immediately thought of The Concord Estate!

The book that first inspired the shoot,

"Belladonna"

At this castle-like property, Breana & Cory didn't shy away from bringing on the passion!  Breana used to be my boss when I was a young 20 something working in retail. It was fun to reconnect with her and boss her around for a change! And when the dress I had originally picked out didn't work for the photoshoot, it was her idea to grab the "Gatsby" dress from my client closet. This fueled my creativity as we merged two of my favorite books- "Belladonna" &
